Our dedicated team ensures projects are completed on time, safely, and with precision, adhering to rigorous QAQC processes from start to finish.Role DescriptionThis part-time hybrid role, based in Langley, BC, offers flexibility with a combination of in-office and remote work. As a Safety Support Specialist / Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the companys safety policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting or coordinating safety training, supporting the development of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols, investigating workplace incidents, and identifying opportunities for improving occupational health and safety standards. You will work closely with the management team to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.QualificationsStrong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health standardsProficiency in executing Safety Training sessions and designing effective safety proceduresExperience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and implementing preventative measuresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsAbility to analyze data, create reports, and recommend safety improvementsCertifications such as Occupational Health and Safety certification or equivalent are an assetFamiliarity with applicable local, provincial, and national safety regulations
