Job SummaryWoodside Exteriors is seeking a motivated, people-focused professional to join our team as anHR Coordinator & Office Support (Maternity Leave Coverage). This full-time position is responsible for supporting and covering our HR Managers role during maternity leave.This role is a multi-functional position that combines:Human Resources coordinationOffice administrationLeadership of Health & Safety programs, including oversight of our Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people, and can confidently manage both administrative systems and people-focused initiatives, while also being comfortable working independently in a quieter environment.There is potential for a continued office role following the maternity leave for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources & People Operations:Manage day-to-day HR functions with a strong focus on administration and organizationCoordinate recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new employeesSupport performance management processes, internal communications, and employee engagement initiativesMaintain employee records, timesheets, benefits, apprenticeship programs, and compliance documentationHealth & Safety Leadership:Lead and support company Health & Safety initiatives across all jobsitesCoordinate and maintain documentation and overall safety compliance requirementsOrganize, participate in, and document Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetingsTrack and manage crew certifications, safety training, and required documentationAdministrative & Office Support:Provide general office administration, coordination, and organizational supportAssist with bookkeeping and data entry tasks using QuickBooks OnlineManage purchase orders, invoices, and administrative tracking systemsSupport management with HR and administrative projects while maintaining organized office systemsConstruction Site & Company SupportAssist with site-related administrative needs and documentationCoordinate company events, sponsorships, and internal communicationsEngage with crews on-site to support team connection and operationsAssist with social media coordination, including filming days and content supportQualifications & SkillsStrong people skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and discreetlyPrevious experience in HR or office administration preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independentlyComfortable stepping into responsibility quickly (with training)Proficiency with digital office tools such as QuickBooks Online, Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, and ExcelProfessional, reliable, and adaptableSchedule & DurationFull-Time:Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pmTerm:Maternity leave coverage anticipated to be approximately 18 months*potential for a continued office role following the maternity leave for the right candidateBenefitsMedical and Dental Benefits after 3-month probationCompany eventsCasual dressNo weekends2 weeks vacation annuallyWageFrom $50,000 a year based on experience
