Location: The Golden Horseshoe - GTA and Hamilton Area, OntarioSchedule: Full-time, Monday Friday 7:30 am - 4 pmSalary: $35/hr ($72,800/year) - $50/hr ($104,000/year)Company:Our client is a global industrial technology leader specializing in advanced compressed air and energy-efficient systems for manufacturing, food & beverage, and industrial facilities. Known for engineering excellence and long-term customer partnerships, they support critical operations through reliable equipment, responsive service, and continuous technical innovation.Description:Our client is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support customers across the GTA. This is a field-based role focused on emergency troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, solid electrical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset, with a strong preference for experience in compressed air systems.Key Responsibilities:Perform emergency field service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting at customer sitesExecute scheduled preventative maintenance, repairs, and new equipment installationsRead and interpret three-phase electrical panels, schematics, and technical drawingsService and maintain mechanical systems with supporting electrical componentsWork directly with clients on-site, providing clear communication and professional serviceUse digital tools and IT platforms for reporting, diagnostics, and service documentationParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent service requests as neededTravel occasionally for overnight service calls or training (approximately 1020% annually)Attend technical training sessions in Montreal or the U.S. as requiredQualifications:35 years of field service experience in an industrial or client-facing environmentStrong mechanical background (35 years required)Minimum 1 year of electrical experience, with strong understanding of three-phase systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentationComfortable working independently in the field and managing customer interactionsProficient with IT tools, mobile service platforms, and digital reporting systemsStrong preference for experience with compressed air systemsFamiliarity with piping systems and industrial layouts is an assetBackground Preferences:Experience in manufacturing, industrial service, or food & beverage facilitiesHVAC background is highly desirableRole Details & Benefits:Company service truck providedPaid per diem for overnight travelStructured on-call rotation (1 week out of every 3 months)Comprehensive technical training program (Canada and U.S.)Stable workload with some months requiring no travelOpportunity to work with premium industrial equipment and long-term customersWhy Join Us?Join a globally respected industrial technology organizationWork in a role that combines technical depth with customer impactStrong investment in training and long-term career developmentCompetitive compensation, benefits, and field support
