This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for delivering reliable IT support, maintaining local infrastructure, and acting as an IT liaison for assigned locations.The successful candidate will balance technical expertise with strong customer and stakeholder engagement, ensuring technology services align with operational needs while adhering to corporate standards, security requirements, and best practices.Why Work With Us:Competitive industry wageBe part of a growing companyStrong HSE cultureOpportunities for advancement great place to start your careerSource invests in our employees and their successWhat Youll Be Doing:Regional & Site OversightServe as an IT point of contact for designated regional sitesSupport site leadership by ensuring technology services are available, reliable, and fit for purposeMaintain awareness of site-level IT risks, issues, and improvement opportunitiesEnsure compliance with established IT policies, standards, and processesCustomer & Stakeholder SupportProvide professional, customer-focused IT support to end usersCommunicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholdersCoordinate IT activities with internal teams, site personnel, and third-party vendorsManage expectations and follow through on commitments related to IT servicesTechnical & Field OperationsDeliver on-site and remote desktop and end-user supportPerform user onboarding and offboarding, device provisioning, and asset managementAdminister user accounts and devices within Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft IntuneTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, connectivity, VPN, and local infrastructureSupport and maintain site IT systems including network, wireless, and security-related technologiesParticipate in IT projects, site deployments, upgrades, and technology lifecycle activitiesTravel & AvailabilityTravel to regional sites, primarily within 3hr driving distance of Grande PrairieProvide on-site support where issues cannot be resolved remotelyParticipate in occasional after-hours or on-call support, as required by operational needsWho Were Looking For:Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or field-based IT rolesDemonstrated ability to work independently and ability to collaborate with a broader IT teamStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience supporting:Windows-based operating systemsMicrosoft 365 and ExchangeActive Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Device management solutions such as Microsoft IntuneWorking knowledge of networking concepts, including switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructureEffective troubleshooting and problem-resolution skillsValid drivers license with clean driving abstractAbility and willingness to travel as requiredWhat Will Help You Succeed:Experience supporting security or camera systems;Hands-on exposure to network cabling and wireless deployments;Experience in industrial, operational, or multi-site environments;Exposure to HMI/PLC or production-related systems;Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication both orally and written with the ability to build relationships;A team player who can work both independently as well as in a team setting;Driven and ambitious with a proven interest in career development, learning and growth;Be a proactive self-starter who actively provides solutions when faced with opportunities;Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;Strong aptitude for detail;Above average organizational abilities to manage multiple and overlapping projects.Dollars & Cents:Annual salary range:Based on qualifications and experienceCompany vehicle provided for business-related travelHealth & Dental InsuranceAnnual bonus programPaid vacation timeRRSP matching programEAP (Employee Assistance Program), and a company-wide Health & Wellness ProgramReferral bonus programFlexible, hybrid work arrangements availableAbout Source Energy Services:Source Energy Services is a company that focuses on the integrated production and distribution of frac sand, as well as the distribution of other bulk completion materials not produced by Source.
