Job Title: CNC Operator Location: Abbotsford, BC Job Type: Full-Time Shift Hours: 1st shift Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:30PM 2nd shift, 3:15PM-1:15AM 3rd shift Sun-Thurs, 1:00 AM-7:15AM Overview: A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join its growing team. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The position is based in a fast-paced production environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: The CNC Operator will set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, monitor production output, and perform routine inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges. The role also includes adjusting tooling, conducting basic machine maintenance, and supporting process improvements. Adherence to safety procedures and production targets is essential. Qualifications: Candidates should have CNC machining experience, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to read engineering drawings, including GD&T. Must be able to run CNC lathes, vertical mills, and horizontal mills Experience proving programs and running 4 and 5 axis machines Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work shifts and occasional overtime are required.
