Under the direction of the Director, Direct Operations, the Sales Manager will be responsible for over-all management & operation of the companys Vancouver Branchs Direct Sales Team, with emphasis on driving sales as per budget and quota commitments. The chance to do something meaningful, to challenge yourself, to be a part of change in an industry, to influence change awaits you when you join the Kyocera Document Solutions Canada team.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Kyocera Document Solutions Canadas vision and plans.Manage, control, and execute plans for Sales, Service, IT Services, Managed Print Services, Marketing, Profit, expense and growth for all business products.Manage sales budgets and forecasts with corporate CRM.Hire and develop employees who are productive and successful in meeting business goals, ensuring discipline and a long-view perspective.Review weekly sales performance of each direct report.Provide goals, advice, or instructions to direct reports along with appraisals and evaluations to ensure objectives are met.Educate, train, and motivate direct reports to maximize their potential.Deliver sales and product training as required.Prepare Monthly Sales Reports as directed by corporate head office. Implement corporate, as well as local branch sales initiatives and programs.Rectify Customer issues, problems, and concerns.Successfully introduce new technology products, incorporating timing of impending launches in the marketing and sales strategy.Manage the Branch in strict adherence to KYOCERA Document Solutions Canadas accounting policies and procedures.Create thought leadership content that positions Kyocera as a thought leader in the Canadian market.QualificationsRequired: Minimum of five (5) years experience managing printer products, processes, analysis, and reporting.Prior experience managing a sales team.Proven track record in B2B sales management.Superior presentation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools.Ability to work with extremely confidential information in a professional, discreet manner.Preferred: Industry relevant experience is a plus including knowledge of advance colour technologies and/or experience in production print.Bachelors degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, or equivalent industry experience.Prior experience working with an international manufacturing organization.Experience working with project management processes and tools, including Microsoft Planner.What's in it for you:At Kyocera, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
