Your work will influence high-profile events and help shape the future of modern sound reinforcement.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test new loudspeaker enclosures, waveguides, DSP, horn assemblies, and full systems.Support the development and testing of acoustical optimisation features and algorithms in both mechanical and digital domainsSet up and perform various acoustic measurements for product developmentConduct acoustics-based research for future product innovations, patents, and publication opportunitiesDevelop acoustic QA processes for both manufacturing and product supportParticipate in all phases of the product development lifecyclefrom initial concept to long-term supportEnsure reliable product performance under extreme or demanding conditionsCommunicate progress, technical findings, and challenges to cross-functional teamsCreate detailed product documentation and user manualsCollaborate closely with end users, engineering, support teams, and project managersProvide recommendations for continuous improvementTravel to venues and festivals may be required for technical support or testingSkills & Experience:Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience510 years of experience developing loudspeakers for professional live audio or related applicationsStrong critical listening skillsExperience with loudspeaker design software such as:VACSAKABAKCOMSOLExperience using acoustic measurement software such as:SMAARTCLIOEASERAHigh attention to detailStrong analytical and pragmatic problem-solving approachExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with AFMG SpeakerLab and EASE GLL CreationWaveguide simulation and design experienceDSP architecture and preset development backgroundExperience as a professional front-of-house engineer or system technicianStrong knowledge of the professional audio industry
