About the CompanyOur client, a well-regarded boutique firm specializing in management-side Labour & Employment law, is seeking a Law Clerk / Executive Assistant for an 18-month contract.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level administrative and legal support within a busy practice groupAssist with drafting, formatting, and filing a variety of legal documents and correspondenceManage calendars, deadlines, and communications to ensure matters progress efficientlyMaintain and organize electronic files within a document management systemLiaise with clients, external counsel, and third parties in a professional mannerReview documentation for accuracy and compliance with applicable procedural rulesSupport billing processes, including preparing and reviewing accountsContribute to the coordination of internal workflows and day-to-day operationsAssist with internal initiatives such as events, reporting, and administrative projectsAnticipate next steps on active matters and help ensure timely follow-upMaintain organized records and support general office administration as neededRequirements3+ years of experience as a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant in Labour & Employment law (management-side required) Previous executive assistant experience is considered an asset Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Small Claims Court Rules (experience with HRTO or OLRB is an asset) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Clio or similar systems Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment Compensation Salary up to $65,000, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits and professional development support.Hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day remote) We do not use AI to screen candidates.
