Director of Operations & Site Leadership Life Sciences Manufacturing | Halifax, NSA global organization within the regulated healthcare and life sciences sector is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and overall site operations at its Halifax, Nova Scotia location.This senior leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in regulated manufacturing environments who excels in operational leadership, compliance, team development, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: Lead site manufacturing and supply chain operations Drive operational performance, quality, compliance, and safety initiatives Oversee budgeting, production planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics Develop and mentor high-performing teams across multiple functional areas Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, Health Canada, and related regulatory requirements Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, R&D, finance, commercial, and external partners Identify and implement process improvements to support efficiency and cost optimizationQualifications: Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline 8+ years of leadership experience within regulated manufacturing and supply chain environments Experience in medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or related industries Strong understanding of GMP and FDA-regulated operations Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence ERP experience, preferably SAPAdditional Information:Location: Halifax, Nova ScotiaThis is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected global organization and play a key leadership role in a complex operational environment.
