We are working with a fast growing A/V integration firm that specializing in designing, installing, and maintaining smart automation, lighting control, and audiovisual (AV) systems across residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who wants to work on high-end residential and commercial projects while supporting and learning from Senior Design Engineers.About the Role:You will focus primarily on system design and project estimating for premium AV, lighting, shading, and networking installations. This is a hands-on design role where youll take ownership of designs handed off from Senior Designers and help drive projects from the proposal stage through to execution support.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and develop detailed system designs for AV, control, lighting, and networking systemsPrepare accurate project estimates and bills of materials using D-Tools (required)Support the sales team with technical proposals and system layoutsAssist the project execution team with drawings, documentation, and coordinationWork with Bluebeam for markups and drawing reviewsHelp maintain high standards across both luxury residential and commercial projectsWhat Were Looking ForBackground or strong interest in AV, low voltage, or construction coordinationComfortable with system design and estimatingD-Tools experience is requiredProficiency in Bluebeam is a strong assetNice-to-have: AutoCAD, SketchUp, or VisioHighly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborativeAbility to work effectively with both sales and field teamsProject TypesMix of residential / commercialTechnologies: Crestron, Lutron (AV, lighting & shades), Ubiquiti, NetgearWhat We OfferCompetitive salary Opportunity to work on high-end, technically challenging projectsDirect mentorship from a Senior Design EngineerRoom for growth as the company continues to expandSupportive, team-oriented work environmentIf youre passionate about smart home and commercial AV systems, enjoy the design and estimating side of projects, and want to grow your career with a company that values quality and craftsmanship, wed love to hear from you.
