Backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Everstone Capital, Apexon now has a global presence of 15 offices (and 10 delivery centers) across four continents.We enable #HumanFirstDIGITALAbout the RoleWere building a modern data platform centered on Snowflake and are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Snowflake Engineer to design, build, and scale Snowflake-native solutions.This role blends data architecture, platform engineering, and advanced Snowflake development to deliver secure, high-performance, and governed data products that power analytics across the organization.You will report to the Director, Data & AI and play a key role in shaping our data platform strategy. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Snowflake-based data architectures (Data Vault, Star Schema, Medallion, etc.)Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowpipe, Snowpark, Streams & Tasks, and modern ingestion toolsDevelop Snowflake-native apps and utilities (Snowpark for Python, UDFs, external functions)Optimize query performance and cost efficiency (clustering, partitioning, warehouse sizing)Implement data governance & security (RBAC, masking, tagging, lineage, audit logging)Automate deployments using IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworksBuild monitoring, alerting, and cost/usage tracking systemsMentor team members and contribute to platform roadmap and best practices Technical Skills RequiredStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environmentsDeep knowledge of Snowflake features: Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, cloning, UDFsExpertise in ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Airbyte, Streamsets, etc.)Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL (performance tuning)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Knowledge of data modeling & architecture patterns (Medallion, Data Vault, Star Schema)Experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing, and production best practicesPreferred QualificationsSnowflake certifications (SnowPro Core / Advanced)Hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud)Exposure to data catalogs, lineage, or virtualization toolsExperience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)Experience building data apps or developer tools using SnowparkOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:Did you know that Apexon has been Certified by Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, in each of the four regions in which it operates: USA (for the seventh time in 2026), India (for the tenth consecutive time in 2026), the UK(for the fourth time in 2026) and Mexico (for the second time in 2026).
