We are committed to advancing sustainable growth and fulfilling our social responsibilities.OverviewThe Senior Manager, Audit is responsible for leading and developing a team of audit professionals and is responsible for overseeing, planning and executing audits and or projects of varying complexity and may act as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise (e.g. Compliance, AML/ATF and Sanctions Compliance/ ICAAP). The Senior Manager, Audit is accountable to provide guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional and personal development objectives are achieved for direct reports. This role is expected to provide a strong support to the Chief Internal Auditor in delivering IAs mandate and sustaining the audit practice, in accordance with the Industry Standards and regulatory requirements.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentKey Responsibilities: Oversee, lead, manage and plan audit engagement work activities to ensure adequate risk coverage, which may require alignment across multiple areas. Contribute to the IAs risk assessment and planning process to ensure the Audit Universe says current and captures all top and emerging risks Act as lead audit advisor to management and respective teams for area of specialization. Report on emerging trends, identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management. Act as a strategic audit advisor by providing counsel and guidance on audit issues. Lead relationships with key enterprise partners and interface with respective leadership team to effectively manage own audit area and clarify scope of accountabilities while influencing and aligning others, as needed Ensure an integrated and aggregated view of all related activities across the overall function providing escalations, recommendations, and decision support to CIA. Ensure team adheres to internal policies / procedures, enterprise frameworks and methodologies and applicable regulatory guidelines contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies for their business area. Lead relationships with business lines, corporate and control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements. Support IA team in staying knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank, from time to time. Assess and identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders and IA team, where required. Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues following IAs methodology and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed. Lead or contribute to cross-functional enterprise initiatives as an organizational or subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations, from IAs perspective Set targets and objectives for the team, and deliver results Grow team expertise to align with the Banks Business and Staffs performance/Development objectives. ; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value delivered by the IA function Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines. Keep CIA informed at all stages of the projects managed. Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units, through periodical trainings Focus on long term planning for functional areaQualifications: Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting Relevant professional certifications, accounting/audit designations (CPA, CISA, CIA ) is required 7+ years of relevant experience in Leading Complex High risk audits gained working with Bank IA environment e.g. Credit (CRE/RESL), Treasury, AML/ATF and Sanctions Compliance, Regulatory Compliance (E-13) ERM/ICAAP, Model Risk Management. Experience in Data Analytics is a distinct advantage Knowledge of Korean though not mandatory, is highly desirable. Ability to work in culturally diverse setting is required. Relationship builder Self-Starter, Ability to multi-task and Solution oriented. Ability to meet tight deadlines with competing priorities Effectively collaborate to meet the Audit Divisions Goals and Objectives and its mandate Good communication & presentation skills Ability to deal with the auditee & third parties e.g. external auditors, service providers etc. Strong People Managerial Skills.
