Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist for an onsite contract opportunity in Winnipeg. This role will support the implementation and optimization of clinical information systems, with a strong focus on workflow transformation, stakeholder engagement, and clinical user adoption.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clinical stakeholders (nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals) to assess and improve clinical workflowsLead and support the implementation of clinical information systems, including radiology and diagnostic imaging solutionsAnalyze current state processes and design future state workflows to enhance efficiency and patient care outcomesFacilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, and change initiatives within clinical environmentsDevelop and deliver training programs and materials for clinical users on new and existing systemsSupport organizational change management activities to ensure successful system adoptionParticipate in the implementation and optimization of electronic patient record (EPR) systems, including Altera SunriseConduct and compile Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to ensure compliance with provincial healthcare regulationsProvide ongoing support, guidance, and subject matter expertise to clinical teams during system transitionsQualificationsDegree, Diploma, or Certificate in Nursing is requiredProsci Change Management Certification is requiredPRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification is requiredExperience10+ years of experience working with stakeholders in a healthcare environment to implement changes to clinical workflows8+ years of experience in an analysis role supporting the implementation of clinical information systems, including radiology and diagnostic imaging software6+ years of experience developing and delivering training for clinical users, including nurses and physicians5+ years of experience implementing the Altera Sunrise suite of products in an acute care setting1+ year of experience conducting and compiling Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for healthcare record systems to ensure compliance with provincial regulationsCriminal background check is requiredAt Aplin together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
