Join us in our mission to create a better hiring experience.TITLE Senior Financial Analyst, Wholesale DistributionSALARY RANGE $85,000 - $95,000CASH BONUSUp to 10%THE PERKS Standard Health Benefits3 Weeks VacationProfessional Development SupportFlexible HoursLOCATION Mississauga, ONTHE OFFICE Permanently Hybrid (3 Days a Week, 2 Days Remote)THE ROLE A key contributor delivering value-added financial analysis for a major banner division while supporting corporate reporting requirements.Financial Operations & Reporting (25%)Business Partnering (25%)Corporate Reporting & Presentations (25%)Ad Hoc Requests & Special Projects (25%)THE TASKS Financial Operations & Reporting May include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:Lead financial planning for the banner head office cost centers, including budget preparation and forecast developmentPrepare monthly reporting deliverables following documented processesAnalyze divisional performance and explain variances versus targets, budgets, and forecastsBusiness Partnering May include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:Partner with the banner President and leadership team to walk them through financials and provide insightsGather business initiatives and action plans from stakeholders to support annual budget developmentCorporate Reporting & Presentations May include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:Prepare and coordinate presentations and reporting packages for corporate reporting cyclesComplete required submissions to head office on time and with accuracyCompile data and build presentation decks using PowerPoint for executive audiencesAd Hoc Requests & Special Projects May include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from banner leadership and corporate stakeholdersSupport ESG reporting requirements and data collection as needed. Ideal for someone who has been waiting for growth opportunities in their current organization and is ready to expand their scope with a direct report and high-visibility projects.THE EXPECTATIONS TIMELINE By Month 1 Meet with business partners and stakeholders to understand the banner and digital team requirementsLearn the various tools and systems used for reporting and analysisGather information on 2026 action plans and initiatives from stakeholdersBy Month 3Independently complete monthly reporting deliverables following documented processesSuccessfully submit corporate reporting requirements to head office on timeSupport the annual budget development process for 2026Demonstrate comfort with all required tools and reporting systemsBy Month 6Own the preparation of presentations and have confident conversations with business partnersManage ad hoc requests independently, seeking guidance only when neededDemonstrate strong follow-through on deliverables without requiring remindersBy Month 12Receive positive feedback from the banner President and leadership team on the quality of insights providedSuccessfully manage all corporate reporting requirements with accuracy and timelinessBe recognized as a trusted finance partner who adds value to the businessIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance FP&A effectivenessTHE SKILL SET CPA designation requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysisAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation skillsONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.
