Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets, Finance Systems, and Agile delivery to support strategic initiatives and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technology solutions, driving high-quality requirements and ensuring successful project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders across Capital Markets, Finance, and Technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirementsDevelop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flowsTranslate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teamsWork within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-upsSupport end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, and implementationConduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for system changesPartner with QA teams to define test cases, validate outcomes, and support UATFacilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and presentationsEnsure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements within Capital MarketsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives)Strong experience working with Finance Systems (e.g., trading platforms, risk systems, accounting systems)Proven ability to create high-quality BRDs, FRDs, and process documentationHands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience with data analysis, SQL, or reporting tools is an assetFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks and financial industry standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile/project management toolsKnowledge of system integration, APIs, or data mappingCertification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification
