Position Title: BIM Coordinator Work Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 4 days onsite)Contract Duration: 5 months CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:Degree/Level of Education: - Diploma or degree in BIM Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.Description:The BIM Coordinator is responsible for producing and maintaining highquality Revitbased building models and deliverables to support the digitization of existing conditions and the ongoing maintenance of portfolio BIM assets. The role enforces BIM standards and QA/QC practices and serves as a technical mentor to improve digital delivery consistency. The BIM Coordinator also supports model packaging, publishing, and structured handover practices to enable reliable use of BIM data across ERE systems and teams. Key Responsibilities - Create and maintain accurate Revit models and generate clear documentation sets aligned with program requirements and company standards. - Lead the development and governance of BIM standards (families, naming conventions, and data hierarchy) to enable consistent modeling and support ERE asset and data tracking. - Lead model federation and coordination across disciplines (Architectural, Structural, and MEP) and manage model exchanges with internal and external stakeholders. - Implement and champion BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements. - Perform model QA/QC, conduct model health checks, and troubleshoot performance or standards-related issues. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior BIM technicians, act as a Revit subject-matter expert for best practices, troubleshooting, and training recommendations. - Support structured asset data handover for integration with facilities management systems, ensuring asset information is accurate, complete, and fit for downstream use. - Interpret current and legacy asbuilt documentation including CAD, PDF, point cloud, and survey inputs and document modeling assumptions and data confidence levels. - Assist in the production of drawings, schedules, and quantities extracted from BIM models. - Contribute to continuous improvement of digital delivery workflows, including evaluating tools and enabling more automated and efficient modeling practices. - Coordinate schedules and deliverables, manage file organization, and ensure submissions meet timeline and quality expectations. Must Have :- 4-6 years of experience in BIM modeling or digital delivery within AEC industry. - Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, particularly for modeling based on as-built documentation. - Familiarity with Navisworks, Dynamo and automation concepts. - Demonstrated ability to apply and enforce BIM standards, implement BEPs, and execute QA/QC processes. - Proven experience coordinating and guiding junior BIM technicians, including reviewing work, providing technical direction, and supporting skill development. - Exposure to ISO 19650aligned information management principles. teams.Experience with data integration into enterprise facilities management systemsNice to have skills :- Experience integrating 3D laser scans and point cloud data into Revit models.
