What will you do? Work in Strategic Business Development group of Siemens Canada. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of Siemens Canada Limited and its diversified businesses across Canada. Support BD team with data extraction, sorting, summarizing, and presenting selected markets, customers and opportunities. Perform desktop research on markets, verticals, and customers. Collaborate with other business units and functions to successfully complete assigned tasks. Prepare/review/analyze opportunity funnels. Prepare, evaluate, or manage information for decision making. Support with conducting internal/external workshops including arranging logistics with help/guidance from other colleagues. Other duties as assigned by management. What will you need to succeed? MBA student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Strategy or Marketing. Coop or working experience/exposure in a business environment is preferred. Knowledge/awareness of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), digital dashboards, data mining and warehousing, business activity monitoring. Strong experience working with Microsoft Office, especially MSPowerpoint and MSExcel (Macros, Pivots, complex data structuring). Ability to read and understand complex market data and convert it into meaningful information/analysis. Some knowledge/interest in App development on Android/iOS is preferred. Must have a good understanding of the market intelligence. Strong problemsolving and organizational skills. Excellent spoken and written, communication and interpersonal skills. About us.
