Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Engineering Major Projects & Automation; this role is accountable for the successful program management of Major Capital projects and coordination of resources to meet the strategic and tactical objectives of the organization. The individual will work closely with crossfunction leaders, senior business leaders, stakeholders and engineers to ensure effective development, priority setting, management and reporting of the project portfolio. This person will also be responsible for the development, control and management of the Sofina Engineering Standards and Systems for capital management, including CapEx documentation of the approval process. Key Responsibilities Assist Directors and facilitate large Capital projects meetings through the project management life cycle using Sofina PMO stagegate process. Ensure project deliverables meet timelines, scope and budget in accordance with Sofinas management methodologies and best practices. Develop and track project schedule. Provide project and portfolio reporting to Project Champions, Steering Committees and Stakeholders. Develop and maintain project documents such as project charters, integrated project plans, resource planning, issue/risk tracking, and project management governance documents. Manage and maintain the AFE submission and approval process for capital projects. Develop, manage and maintain the Engineering Standards and Master Data SharePoint site. Coach, mentor and train on the Sofina Project Management Standards. Responsible for all engineering reporting and tracking within the department and to senior leaders and stakeholders. Requirements 5 to 7 years project management experience. Bachelors degree in engineering. Certified PMP and P.Eng preferred. AutoCAD experience an asset. Ideally, experience delivering large, complex initiatives within the food processing industry. Demonstrated experience leading crossfunctional project teams in complex, multistakeholder environments. Demonstrated track record of project delivery within approved plan, scope and budget. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to develop reports and make presentations to both nontechnical and executive audiences. Expert skills in MS Office products including Excel, Power Point, Word, MSProjects. Compensation Hiring Range: CAD $84,000 - $120,000. Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus up to 10.0% of base salary subject to the plan terms and conditions. Additional Information This position is currently an active vacancy.
