Job Description Title: Senior Product Owner Cloud ServicesLocation: Calgary (Canada) This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Services Product Center where our vision is to become the leading positioning services provider for field robotics customers. We provide cloud services to help B2B customers solve their positioning problems. We are seeking an ambitious Product Owner to play a key part in the longterm strategy across our product center, overseeing the development of services within the product center. As part of a team of talented Product Owners you will own one or more services and, at the same time, will be contributing to the overall product strategy definition in a supporting role to the Head of Product. The ideal candidate is a team player who can build, maintain, and communicate the vision of owned services and suggest the path to market success to the development teams and various stakeholders. You will inspire and motivate teams and encourage independent solutionseeking activities within the boundary of the agile development activities and the vision of the service that you create and nurture. You should be intellectually curious and show courage to challenge and advise the leadership team. Because you are responsible for the marketability and profitability of the service, you also have a good understanding of business and pricing models, you can assess costs and revenues of the product, and you can support our sales teams to generate the right business solution for the markets your service is targeting. You may have been working in a technical role previously and bring a combination of Agile leadership, interpersonals skills and technical knowledge, having worked in various capacities in industry in your past career. You will be based in Calgary (Canada), working with teams located across the globe. This position requires a certain degree of freedom for traveling, approx. 10% of the working time. Your Responsibilities Build services for great market success, which means defining the vision of the service and creating a roadmap to communicate and sustain this vision. Collaborate with prospective customers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into backlog items and experiments to validate assumptions and feed the vision. Manage the product backlog based on markets and technologies in a VUCA environment. Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development, and evaluate and communicate progress to stakeholders. Work closely with the PO team and the product center leadership to contribute to the overall product center strategy and success. Work closely with the other product centers in the company to ensure that services are following the overall company strategy and are aligned to the other products vision and roadmap. Negotiate, as needed, with international partners and suppliers. Your Skills and Experience Qualified to degree level in Engineering/Science with a basic knowledge and experience of software delivery; an additional business degree is a plus. A deep understanding of agility and Scrum and/or Kanban. Several years experience as a Product Owner in fast moving and VUCA environments. Good communication and presentation skills. Good working knowledge of English language. Knowledge of positioning techniques, such as GNSS or other location technologies, is desired but not necessary.
