Family Aide (CF) - Collaborative Service Delivery Edmonton, AB, Canada Job Description Catholic Social Services is seeking a fulltime, 40hour contract Family and Youth Community Support Worker in Edmonton. Schedule: 40 hours per week, flexible based on family needs. Contract expires December 31, 2026. Program Overview The Collaborative Service Delivery Program provides highquality supports to children and families in the Children and Youth Services system, teaching parenting and communication skills, and supporting and transporting children to family visitations. Job Summary - Selfmotivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently and as part of a service team. - Provide inhome support: assistance with cleaning, shopping, cooking, and navigating community systems. - Assist indigenous families in accessing elders, traditional knowledge keepers, and culturally appropriate resources. - Maintain an uptodate awareness of community resources to meet client needs and advocate when appropriate. - Passion for empowering parents and children to foster meaningful relationships and emotional bonds. What This Job Requires - Diploma or degree in Human Services (or equivalent). - 12 years of related experience, including knowledge of community resources and family intervention. - Inhome family support experience preferred; knowledge of addictions and mental health issues is an asset. - Strong organization, timemanagement, and computer skills. - Relationshipbuilding and leadership skills. - Valid Class 5 drivers license and vehicle capable of safely transporting children (child safety seats provided). - Drivers abstract with fewer than six demerit points, current within one year. - Current police information check, vulnerable sector search, and Childrens Service Intervention Record Check (within six months). - Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, registration, and thirdparty liability insurance (two million).
