Vos responsabilits vous amneront travailler avec des entrepreneurs et des quipes dirigeantes dans plusieurs industries diffrentes.De par notre culture collaborative, en quelques mois vous aurez lopportunit de travailler avec lensemble des Partners, sur des mandats dont la gographie se situe entre Vancouver et Montral. De plus, une proportion significative de nos mandats implique un autre bureau Oaklins travers le monde, ce qui vous permettra de collaborer troitement et rgulirement avec des collgues du Brsil, Italie, Japan ou un autre des 40 pays possdant une place daffaire Oaklins.Le candidat retenu participera un large ventail de missions et sera responsable de : Participer aux mandats de vente, acquisition ou de financement en dette ou quit pour les clients dOaklins. Produire des analyses financires dtailles partir de rsultats financiers historiques et prvisionnels pour les clients dOaklins et aussi pour dautres entits faisant partie du groupe FTM. Responsable la modlisation financire dans Excel. Analyser des tudes du march ou comparatives, compiler des donnes sur les entreprises similaires nos clients et effectuer des analyses de valeur relative en fonction du march. Rdiger des notices dinformation confidentielle et autres documents financiers pertinents. Analyser les forces, faiblesses, opportunits et menaces spcifiques un client et son secteur dactivit, afin d'valuer les risques inhrents aux flux de trsorerie de l'entreprise. Participer aux discussions et rencontres avec les clients. Dvelopper la relation avec les clients actuels et futurs. Participation certaines activits de dveloppement des affaires.Exigences de lemploi (ducation et exprience de travail) Baccalaurat en commerce avec concentration en comptabilit et/ou en finance (dautres concentrations seront considres suivant la nature des expriences professionnels) Une anne dexprience pertinente en comptabilit, finances ou consultation ou lquivalent via des stages pertinents CPA, EEE ou CFA en cours ou complts seraient considrs comme un atout. Bonne comprhension des facteurs qui dterminent la valeur d'une entreprise. Solide formation en modlisation financire. Trs bonne connaissance de la suite MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word et Outlook). Matrise des outils d'intelligence artificielle (ChatGPT, Claude et/ou Microsoft Copilot). Matrise de S&P Capital IQ sera considre comme un atout. Excellente capacit danalyse et de synthse. Excellentes comptences organisationnelles et capacit de grer les priorits. Capacit de travailler de faon autonome avec un minimum de supervision. Capacit d'apprendre et de russir dans un environnement trs dynamique. Solides comptences de communication et de prsentation en franais et en anglais, loral comme lcrit. Your responsibilities will involve working with entrepreneurs and management teams in many different industries.Thanks to our collaborative culture, within a few months you will have the opportunity to work with all Partners on mandates spanning between Vancouver and Montreal. What's more, a significant proportion of our mandates involve another Oaklins office around the world, which will enable you to work closely and regularly with colleagues in Brazil, Italy, Japan or any of the other 40 countries with an Oaklins office.The successful candidate will participate in a wide range of assignments and will be responsible for: Participating in Oaklins sell-side, buy-side, or capital raising engagements. Conducting detailed financial analysis on historical and projected financial results for Oaklins clients and also for other entities that are part of the FTM Group. Performing financial modeling in Excel. Conducting market and industry research, benchmarking analysis, compiling data on comparable companies that are similar to our clients and performing relative market valuation analysis. Drafting marketing materials, including pitchbooks, teaser summaries, Confidential Information Memorandum and management presentations. Analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats specific to a client and its sector in order to assess the risks inherent to the companys cash flows. Participating in discussions and meetings with our clients leadership team. Developing relationships with current and future clients. Participating in business development initiatives.Skills and Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in accounting and/or finance (other concentrations will be considered depending on the nature of professional experience). One year of accounting, finance, or consulting experience through relevant internships. CPA, CBV, or CFA designation (or enrollment in such designations) would be considered an asset. Strong understanding of the factors driving the value of a company. Strong fundamentals and proficiency in financial modeling. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook). Familiar with the use of Artificial Intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and/or Microsoft Copilot). Proficiency with S&P Capital IQ would be considered an asset. Excellent critical, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and presentation skills including French and English writing and speaking proficiency.
