OverviewEngineer and Project Leader, Industrial Electrical (Relocation to Sept-les) Regular full-time position with relocation to Sept-les, Quebec. You will pursue project and client development in the Sept-les region, collaborating with offices in Labrador City, Montral and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, and supporting projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. Your role combines electrical engineering leadership with project management to deliver high-quality services to industrial clients.ResponsibilitiesAddress safety issues during the design phaseLead and carry out electrical engineering projects for industrial clients in Qubec and CanadaParticipate in multidisciplinary projects as a senior electrical expertPrepare and supervise the production of plans and specifications for engineering projectsSupervise or participate in preparing and drafting technical study reportsManage technical projects (project teams, design reviews, costs, schedules)Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge to junior engineersLead and participate in preparing proposalsPrepare material take-offs and studiesContribute to various stages of major projects depending on the level of engineering involvedQualities and ValuesAdaptable with the ability to learn on the flyTeam player with positive peer relationshipsResults-drivenHonest, trustworthy, and aligned with BBA ethics and valuesClient-orientedAbility to develop the skills of direct collaborators and othersIndependentCertifications and Job RequirementsBachelors degree in Electrical EngineeringMember of the Ordre des ingnieurs du QubecAt least five years of professional experience, mainly in major industrial and multidisciplinary projectsTechnical and functional skills in medium- and low-voltage industrial power distributionExperience managing a team (two to five resources)Ability to draft technical documentsBilingual (English and French), both spoken and writtenAvailable to work at client sites and offices in Qubec and across CanadaExperience in low- and medium-voltage industrial power distribution designSolid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical CodeAssets: knowledge of ETAP and AutoCAD; OPEX experience at client sites; site supervision; knowledge of foreign electrical codes, standards and methodsAbout BBAFor over 40 years, BBA has pushed the boundaries of engineering to serve clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
