This role supports the safe, costeffective, and timely execution of Operating Envelopes (OEs) and Operations team interface services under the new Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) across client assets. You play a key role in bridging engineering and operations, ensuring technical rigor, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across asset changes and projects. Location & Work Details Location: Calgary, AB Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours a week Job type: Temporary | Full-time Contract Duration: ASAP - December 31, 2026 Why You Should Apply Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities Support the development, review, and implementation of Operating Envelopes, Safe Operating Limits, and Operating Procedures across Midstream facilities Ensure all changes comply with Suncor and applicable industry technical standards Support and contribute to the development of Technical Deviations and approvals, as required Lead Engineering / Operations Interface activities and collaborate with integrated, crossfunctional teams to deliver mature and executable OE deliverables Evaluate and support required changes related to: Facility siting Operating envelopes and safe operating limits Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) Process Safety Information (PSI) Corrosion control requirements Prepare and review engineering calculations to support Project and Management of Change (MOC) evaluations and executions, including but not limited to: API 2350 overfill protection Overpressure relief analysis Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) sizing Surge analysis and protection Engage directly with Operations teams to ensure: Awareness and understanding of operational impacts Effective implementation of new processes, procedures, or equipment Operational considerations are integrated into design and execution Support risk identification, mitigation strategies, and operational readiness throughout the change lifecycle Qualifications and Skills Bachelor''s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with APEGA 5-10+ years of progressive experience as a Process Engineer within midstream oil & gas, including pipelines, terminals, or processing facilities Demonstrated experience supporting Operating Envelopes, Safe Operating Limits, and Engineering / Operations interface activities Strong background working in brownfield facilities, including Management of Change (MOC) and operational risk mitigation Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and address numerous issues simultaneously in a fastpaced environment Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders Solid knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
