Application Information Position #: 9006995 (V49663) Expected Start Date: November 03, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Addiction Treatment Center City/Town: Regina Department: Virtual Access to Addictions Medicine (VAAM) Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.32 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 47.12 hours per 4 weeks, 11.78 hours Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Degree $34.509 to $42.199 Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No Job Description Reporting to the Manager and as a member of the Adult Service Team, the Addictions Counsellor Degree's primary goal will be to assess, counsel and develop comprehensive recovery and case management plans which will restore, maintain or enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues. Responsibilities will include the provision of best practice methodology to assess and screen clients, and to provide individual and group counselling. The primary role of this position will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing virtual care. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria. Education Degree in Addictions, Social Sciences or Human Services disciplines acceptable to the employer.
