You will lead platform engineering efforts that enhance CI/CD, observability, cost optimization, and overall system resilience. Working in a remote-first environment, you'll collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders across product, security, and operations to deliver a robust and scalable platform. If you thrive in ownership-heavy roles and want to shape the future of DevOps in a fast-growing tech company, this is the opportunity for you.Accountabilities:Lead and evolve the company's DevOps and platform engineering practices, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and securityDesign and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support fast-paced development while maintaining system stabilityImprove system observability using tools like Datadog and GCP monitoring, and define standards for SLOs, SLIs, and SLAsDrive infrastructure cost optimization and performance improvements across cloud environmentsBuild internal tools and reusable infrastructure modules to enhance developer productivityCollaborate with engineering, security, and finance teams to align infrastructure with business goalsRequirements6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, ideally in high-growth or startup environmentsStrong proficiency in Python or Go, with deep experience managing production systems and troubleshooting distributed architecturesAdvanced knowledge of Kubernetes and associated tools (ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform)Experience with GCP or equivalent cloud providers, with a focus on cloud efficiency and infrastructure automationProven success in building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer platforms from scratchFamiliarity with observability tools like Datadog or Prometheus and previous experience participating in on-call rotationsBenefitsCompetitive base salary ($180,000-$220,000) + Series C equity with high growth potentialRemote-first work culture work from anywhere in the US or CanadaEarly exercise available for all equity, including pre-vested optionsFlexible PTO, year-end break, and self-care daysHealth, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents401(k)/RRSP with 4% company match (US/Canada)Home office setup stipend + MacBook ProMonthly meal and social meetup stipendsAnnual wellness and learning stipendsUnlimited access to professional financial advisory servicesJobgether hiring process disclaimerThis job is posted on behalf of one of our partner companies.
