GFL Environmental is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator for its processing facilities in Brantford, Ontario. This full-time, afternoon shift role involves waste management, machinery operation, and safety compliance. As a Plant Operator at GFL, you will manage day-to-day operations related to receiving and processing waste. Your responsibilities include working with various waste vehicles, conducting safety checks, and assisting with the general maintenance of machinery. Teamwork, safety consciousness, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Receive client waste including bulk liquids and solids Conduct sampling from vehicles for lab analysis Load and unload various waste vehicle types Operate machinery and perform general maintenance Report operational defects and comply with safety standards Requirements: Previous hazardous waste management experience is an asset Propane forklift experience/certification desirable Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably Strong multitasking and teamwork skills Willingness to work outdoors Drive environmental solutions and enhance your skills at GFL in Brantford! #J-18808-Ljbffr
