Job Description

Overview We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance team! Our Maintenance Manager is accountable for the safety, leadership, culture, and results for the department. Opportunities This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of well-trained professionals to success! In this role, you will be functioning in a 24/6, dynamic operating environment. Responsibilities Lead a team of Millwrights, Electricians, Supervisors, and Maintenance Support staff. Own the maintenance budget and participate in Capital Improvement Projects. Support and engage with Quality, Production, and Warehouse to deliver objectives. Organize maintenance work assignments within appropriate timeframes and manage the department budget. Setup, maintain, and manage preventative maintenance systems, inspection routines, scheduling, training, and more. Be key contact for unplanned breakdown maintenance tasks. Coordinate contractors activities and uphold communication with stakeholders as needed. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and safety objectives. Backup for the Maintenance department when required. Ensure implementation of the Preventive Maintenance Program. Ensure a system for timely completion of Maintenance Repairs and Minor Production Improvements. Complete performance reviews for direct reports. Bring forth new ideas to improve on existing production processes. Ensure yearly code inspection certificates are acquired (Electrical, Boiler inspections, Fire Alarm Inspection, etc.). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor or similar role. At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance environment. NicetoHave: 5th Class Steam Engineering certification. Continuous Improvement Experience.
