Join Vanderwell as a Quality Coordinator in Slave Lake, Alberta, to oversee critical quality checks and grading at our modern sawmill facility. Drive excellence in production efficiency. In this position, you will conduct crucial quality control checks and collaborate with both internal teams and external inspectors to maintain high standards. Your focus will ensure wood products are properly graded and efficiently packaged for wholesale customers. Key Responsibilities: Implement daily Quality Control checks at mill stations Inspect package quality to enhance Gradex efficiency Adjust grading and packaging processes as needed Keep management updated on product quality status Engage with Comact to uphold quality standards Requirements: Bachelors degree in Wood Product Processing or similar At least two years'' experience in lumber industry Strong mechanical knowledge and detail-oriented mindset AFPA grading certificate is beneficial Must be local or willing to relocate Support Vanderwells commitment to high-quality lumber products with your expertise in quality coordination in Slave Lake. #J-18808-Ljbffr
