Job Description Packing /Warehouse Lead Hand Port Colborne, Ontario Help Us Shape the Future of Nutrition. Location: Port Colborne, Ontario. Position Type: Full-Time, $34.17/Hour. Shift: Normal work schedule is 8-Hour work schedule Monday to Saturday or Sunday 3 Shifts 6-day Operation. About the Role ADM is looking for a motivated and safety-focused Lead Hand to join our Packing & Warehouse operations. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, proven production experience, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Flour Packing & Warehouse Operators. Reporting to the Mix Plant & Warehouse Superintendent, this position is responsible for supporting Packing and Warehouse operations by assisting with the efficiency of the processes, helping in the reduction of downtime, performing inspection duties, and ensuring safe and productive work practices. What Youll Do Complete and input all required data into management system Lead a group of 4 Packing & Warehouse operators Assist in daily operations of the Packing Lines and Warehouse positions Provide coverage for Packing & Warehouse Operator tasks as required Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures Monitor equipment and processes to ensure smooth operation Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly Communicate effectively with team members and management Maintain accurate records and perform computer-based reporting tasks What You Bring Excellent command of problem solving, selfmotivation, and organizational skills Proven experience with high-speed production Capability to maintain a safe and productive work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) required Ability to maintain a confident and courteous manner while addressing colleagues, contractors, and visitors Clear hearing, speaking, reading, comprehending and effective communication orally and in writing Related industry knowledge Good attention to detail and troubleshooting skills Proven record of perfect attendance; only those meeting this standard will be considered Consistent, highquality workmanship with no history of workmanship issues Education and Experience Post Secondary Degree/Diploma required Management or Lead Hand experience or training Relevant experience in a Packaging, Warehousing or manufacturing environment Previous work in a highspeed production setting strongly desired Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment Whats in It for You Paid training and ongoing professional development A supportive, inclusive workplace that values your growth and wellbeing The opportunity to contribute to a global mission that truly makes a difference Other Requirements Must pass preemployment medical and reference checks Regular, reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed Commitment to ADMs Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Relocation assistance is not available Benefits and Perks Enriching the quality of life for the world begins by taking care of our colleagues.
