Position Description We currently have an exciting role for a Heavy Equipment Operator in our Arras, BC location. Come be a part of our rapidly expanding company. Position Responsibilities - Work along side management to efficiently complete work. - Operating loader, bob cat, loader, and packer - Proficient Experience using heavy equipment such as earth movers, Fine-grade experience with loader, bob cat, loader, packer, and other related equipment and attachments - Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property - Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks of equipment - Ensure and manage machines or equipment in a safe and secure way - Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws. - Complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections - Additional duties may be required Qualifications - 2+ years of operating experience - Experience in landfill/waste experience is considered an asset - Leadership skill is an asset - Successfully pass a pre-employment drug /alcohol testing What We Offer - Competitive Hourly Wages - Company sponsored benefits - RRSP/DPSP Contributions - Training on additional equipment This is more than a job - its your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
