Board Certified Ophthalmologist Sr Medical Director/Medical Director US & Canada Based Updated: Yesterday Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Job ID: 25107998-OTHLOC-1510-2DR Job Responsibilities Board-certified in Ophthalmology is required. Provide medical oversight of assigned clinical studies as a medical monitor and serve as primary medical contact for customers. Provide medical input and oversight in support of the Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance department. Responsible for protocol design and development, including input into protocol amendments. Develop and deliver projectspecific and therapeutic training to project team members, clinical site staff, and customer staff. Provide medical and therapeutic input to Study StartUp, Feasibility, and Subject Identification efforts, including review of informed consent templates and subjectfacing materials. Provide medical input into data collection tools, monitoring plans, and review and analysis plans. Oversee assigned Medical Scientist staff and Medical Director colleagues reviewing clinical data, presenting trends, issues, and mitigation strategies to customers. Provide afterhours medical coverage for clinical studies. Adhere to enterprise policies, work instructions, SOPs, project plans, and customer policies and SOPs as required. Maintain indepth knowledge of FDA and global drug development regulations and ICH GCP guidelines. Support responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Bid Defense Meetings (BDMs) upon request. Provide input to clinical development or regulatory teams within the Company upon request. Represent the Company at scientific meetings upon request. Salary Range $146,000.00 $277,000.00 Qualifications Boardcertified Ophthalmologist with experience in clinical study oversight, protocol development, safety review, training delivery, and regulatory knowledge.
