We are seeking a Lead Project Engineer to support our Forklift and Telehandler product line. This role is a handson, forwardthinking engineering leadership position responsible for managing multiple projects from concept through completion, supporting both current products and new product development. The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. Essential Functions - Lead full product development cycles from conception through completion utilizing a stage-gate process. - Develop and present technical and project updates to executive management. - Create and manage detailed project plans using MS Project or similar tools, including resource allocation and schedule distribution. - Lead and mentor a team of multi-disciplinary engineers within a cross-functional environment. - Support product design and development involving machined components, sheet metal, fabricated weldments, and large assemblies, ensuring clear dimensional schemes that capture engineering intent. - Design, develop, and execute testing procedures for offroad heavy equipment. - Manage multi-tiered Bills of Material (BOMs) and support integration with organizational ERP systems. - Lead rootcause analysis efforts, including interpretation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics. - Support quality initiatives such as DFMEA, PPAP, VAVE, and 6S. - Interface with vendors and conduct site visits to support quality audits as required.Support Request for Quote (RFQ) processes as needed. - Interpret customer contracts and assess impacts to engineering scope, timelines, and cost. - Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting technical growth and professional development. - Proven problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions. - High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design, testing, and documentation. Required Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering. - Engineering degree with emphasis in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. - Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license. Required Experience - 710 years of progressive engineering experience. - Must be eligible and able to travel to the United States occasionally for business purposes. Preferred Education And Experience - MBA. - Experience supporting fullmachine product development in material handling, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar heavy equipment industries. - PMP or CAPM (PMI) certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
