We are seeking a Lead Project Engineer to support our Forklift and Telehandler product line. This role is a handson, forwardthinking engineering leadership position responsible for managing multiple projects from concept through completion, supporting both current products and new product development. Essential Functions - Lead full product development cycles from conception through completion utilizing a stage-gate process. - Develop and present technical and project updates to executive management. - Create and manage detailed project plans using MS Project or similar tools, including resource allocation and schedule distribution. - Lead and mentor a team of multi-disciplinary engineers within a cross-functional environment. - Support product design and development involving machined components, sheet metal, fabricated weldments, and large assemblies, ensuring clear dimensional schemes that capture engineering intent. - Design, develop, and execute testing procedures for offroad heavy equipment. - Manage multi-tiered Bills of Material (BOMs) and support integration with organizational ERP systems. - Lead rootcause analysis efforts, including interpretation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics. - Support quality initiatives such as DFMEA, PPAP, VAVE, and 6S. - Interface with vendors and conduct site visits to support quality audits as required.Support Request for Quote (RFQ) processes as needed. - Interpret customer contracts and assess impacts to engineering scope, timelines, and cost. - Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting technical growth and professional development. - Proven problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions. - High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design, testing, and documentation. Required Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering. - Engineering degree with emphasis in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. - Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license. Required Experience - 710 years of progressive engineering experience. - Must be eligible and able to travel to the United States occasionally for business purposes.
