Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Read blueprints and other drawings.KEYRESPONSIBILITIES Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsPerform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtimeService, adjust, and test machines, devices, and moving partsInstall, align, dismantle, and relocate stationary industrial machinery such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generatorsWork with automated equipment including PLCs, robotics, motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and refrigeration systemsRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layout plansSupport continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiativesEnsure compliance with GMP, HACCP, CFIA, and health & safety requirementsCollaborate with production and maintenance teams to maintain efficient operationsPerform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or ManagerQUALIFICATIONSMust hold a valid 442A Industrial Electrician license in Ontario, CanadaMinimum 23 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, automation, and controlsKnowledge of motors, conveyors, and packaging equipmentAbility to read electrical schematics and technical drawingsStrong commitment to safety and food quality standardsAbility to work in refrigerated and fast-paced production environments#INDbluecollarHeres what Olymel has to offer you:A truly family-like work atmosphereA service recognition programA comprehensive benefits package, including:A group insurance programAttractive corporate discounts after 3 monthsA company committed to sustainable development, offering high-quality products, promoting animal welfare, responsible sourcing, reducing its environmental impact, and giving back to the communities it operates in through various initiatives, including the Together We Give Back program.Thank you for your interest in our company.Not ready to apply today?
