Location: Windsor, ONPosition: Long Term Contract Title: 374-1 - Vehicle Integration Engineer / Concept Packaging EngineerWe are seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Integration Engineer to support early-stage vehicle concept development and platform integration activities. The engineer will be responsible for conducting vehicle architecture feasibility studies, system-level packaging investigations, and concept layout development for future vehicle programs.The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure proper integration of chassis, powertrain, battery, thermal, suspension, electrical, and structural systems within vehicle platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD packaging experience, vehicle systems knowledge, and the ability to support concept development from feasibility through prototype stages.Responsibilities:Conduct vehicle architecture feasibility and packaging studies for new vehicle concepts and platform variantsDevelop CAD layouts and system integration models for vehicle components and subsystemsSupport propulsion, chassis, battery, cooling, electrical, and structural packaging investigationsPerform interface and clearance analysis to ensure proper component integrationCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to resolve design and packaging challengesSupport concept development, prototype builds, and vehicle integration activitiesDevelop and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and design validation inputsParticipate in design reviews, trade-off studies, and optimization activities for vehicle packaging and functionalitySupport continuous improvement of vehicle integration and concept development processesQualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering fieldExperience in vehicle integration, automotive packaging, concept development, or product engineeringStrong CAD experience using CATIA, NX, or similar toolsKnowledge of vehicle systems including chassis, powertrain, battery systems, cooling, suspension, or electrical integrationExperience with feasibility studies, packaging analysis, and cross-functional engineering collaborationStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsExperience supporting prototype builds and vehicle development programs preferred.
