Kelly Services' has partnered with a client in Misssissauga, ON to recruit for a DIRECT HIRE PERM role in Green Energy Supplier IndustryRole: Shop Manager/ Parts Manager Location: Mississauga, ONMonday to Friday onsiteAs Shop Manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of our shop, storage yard, fleet and other property and equipment.The primary responsibility of the Shop Manager is to provide operational and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the companys equipment and vehicles. The Shop Manager is accountable to ensure all fleet processes are completed in a timely manner with records maintained accordingly.Responsibilities:Source and secure parts, materials & equipment required to ensure continuous operations of all Company vehicles and equipment.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including dispatching drivers and scheduling routes.Monitor, schedule and ensure preventive maintenance of all Company vehicles and equipment.Maintain a detailed inventory of all spare part and material available at the shop or stored for future use.Maintain the cleanliness of the shop both interior and exterior, storage yards, fleet and other equipment.Schedule fleet vehicles for preventative maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.Maintain shop organization, inventory, and yardCoordinate mobilization/demobilization of job sitesSupport movement of equipment (drill rigs, materials, rentals)Assist mechanic with sourcing parts and maintenance coordinationTrack fleet (secondary focus; not logistics-heavy)Deliver and pick up materials from job sitesRequirements:G Driver's license is a MUSTWork may involve some exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and loud noisesOn site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require knowledge of and adherence to basic safety procedures and precautionsWork environment requires having construction safety footwearThis role will be based in Mississauga working at our location, with some flexibility for remote work.Construction background (critical)Strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyComfortable with hands-on work (lifting, loading, equipment handling)Nice-to-Have:Forklift licenseExperience in shop, yard, or light industrial environmentReporting:Reports to VP of ConstructionWorks with mechanic, bin truck drivers, and field teamsWhat's in for you!Direct Hire Perm roleMonday to Friday onsite in Mississauga with some flexibility for hybrid/remoteIf you're looking for an opportunity where you can be your best self and join a fantastic team, look no further and apply today!Why Kelly?As a worker today, its up to you to take charge of your career and look for opportunities to learn, grow and achieve your potential.
