Join our team today!Job DescriptionThe Department of Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time Anatomical Pathologist to join a rapidly expanding and evolving program. As the department grows, the Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology is pursuing a hybrid staffing and service delivery model to support multiple specialist roles. The pathologist will have fellowship training with interests in Thyroid Pathology, Cytopathology and Dermatopathology. There is potential to incorporate aspects of Next Generation Sequencing into practice. There is also an opportunity to participate in teaching and research as the department builds capacity with the new medical school and research institution. The successful candidate will be based at the Brampton Civic Hospital site. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation (UMLC) for Pathologists in Ontario.About The ProgramThe laboratory medicine program includes anatomic pathologists, hematopathologists, medical microbiologists, a molecular pathologist and clinical biochemist, with a team of medical technologists providing high-quality immunohistochemistry and 10-color flow cytometry support.
