Polyclinic Family and Specialty Medicine is part of one of the largest health care hubs in north Toronto. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. It has an onsite pharmacy, rehabilitation centre, dentists, optometrist, pain clinic, cataract surgical centre, and a suite of diagnostic services. What You Will Be Doing The ideal candidate will work with our team of family physicians and be responsible for seeing psychiatry consultations, providing patient care, and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and a commitment to ongoing professional development in psychiatry. The candidate may hold clinics during evenings and weekends on a flexible basis. Onsite diagnostic services include a busy walkin clinic, laboratory, xray, ultrasound, bonedensity, mammography, full pulmonary function testing, methacholine challenge testing, endoscopy, sleep studies, stress testing, echocardiography, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and audiology testing. You Have All candidates must be able to function proficiently in English, hold an MD, MBBS or an equivalent degree, and be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications. The successful candidate must have completed subspecialty training in psychiatry and must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Fellows currently completing their specialty training in psychiatry in Ontario are also welcome to apply. Compensation The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on the candidates experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
