Our strategy focuses on high-margin project development opportunities in the U.S. and Europe, where we hold an industry-leading position.We have a unique opening for a skilled leader to take over the leadership over our team in Germany and set the strategic direction of our local operations together with our senior management.As our new colleague you will:The main responsibilities of our future Country Director are:Develop strategic plan and budget needs for development in Germany and continuously drive the completion of strategic milestones that will advance a project through the various stages of developmentDevelop, advance, and manage existing or new downstream solar projects including offtake, permitting, interconnection, land, community relations, stakeholder management and all related budgetsLead development efforts for greenfield, co-development and project acquisitions within targeted markets/sectorsManage cross-functional teams including legal, financial, project management and asset management resources to analyze and close transactions aligned with department goalsPrepare and negotiate agreements as JV-agreements, development agreements, shareholder agreements, etc.Identify and develop partner relations with project developers, financial institutions, investors, contractors, lawyers, consultants, authorities, grid operators, advisors, manufacturers, and other market participants to maintain a project pipelineManage all aspects of project development and acquisitionCommunicate regularly with senior leadership on the state of the renewable energy markets and present investment opportunitiesEvaluate market drivers including new technologies, financial incentives, government/regulatory issues, and business structures to continually grow the portfolio and maintain a competitive position in the industryRepresent the Company at solar fairs, events, and regulatory meetingsPosition Requirements:MBA and/or MSc in electrical engineering or environmental engineering5-10 years work experience in renewable energy sector as Project and/or Business Developer for the German marketProven Leadership experience, and entrepreneurial spiritStrong communication, problem solving, and organizational skillsGerman native language and English proficiencyWhen you join us, you can expect the following benefits:Holistic Wellbeing Support: We believe in supporting you through life’s ups and downs, both at work and in your personal life.
