Job Description:Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork towards key business KPI’s set by I.T ManagementProvide remote and onsite hardware and software supportRecord all activity in Client's ITSM toolProvide and update feedback to users as their calls are progressedWork as part of a geographically distributed teamLiaise with 3rd parties and wider I.T team where necessaryIdentify and mitigate security incidents, GDPR compliance issues, application vulnerabilities, network/infrastructure and other vulnerabilities.Ensure correct documentation and procedures are followed or produced if neededEnsure all systems have a backup and are monitored for any failuresUndertake training and research to maintain knowledge of current technology and systemsUnderstand business operations and the key role IT plays within its operationsPerson SpecificationAble to prioritise under pressure and work to deadlinesExcellent decision making, judgement, planning and organisation skillsFlexible, calm and approachable, ‘can do’ attitudeSolid customer relations skills to understand customers concerns and requirementsAble to lead projects and / or work as part of a project teamAbility to work well within team, supporting other team membersWillingness to gain relevant qualifications and accreditationsPro-active approach to workGood verbal and written communications skillsWilling and able to travel not only to the expected time for the role but also in emergency scenariosFull Driving License
