Freelance PLC Programmer (Siemens TIA Portal) – Berlin | 3-Month Project Starting End of AugustWe're looking for a highly skilled Freelance PLC Programmer with deep experience in Siemens TIA Portal to join a key automation project based in Berlin.Start Date: End of August 2025Location: Berlin (Onsite/Hybrid flexibility possible)Project Duration: 3 monthsProject OverviewThis is a hands-on commissioning-focused role within a high-impact project for a well-established automotive manufacturing company active in industrial automation. You’ll be part of a lean and agile team responsible for bringing production lines and machinery to life – from PLC logic finalization to on-site testing and live commissioning.Your ResponsibilitiesLead and execute commissioning tasks for software Siemens systems using TIA PortalConfigure and test PLC software to ensure seamless integration with automated systemsCollaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to validate field wiring and IO mappingTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation logic during on-site ramp-upSupport Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Document the commissioning process and contribute to technical handoversRequirementsProven experience with Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1500 and related hardware)Strong background in commissioning and troubleshooting industrial systemsPrior work in automotive, manufacturing, or logistics automation environments is a plusFluent in English (German is a plus)Freelance availability from end of AugustWillingness to work onsite in Berlin, with some hybrid flexibility if required
