Were Hiring: Head of Resource Planning Germany & Austria Based in Frankfurt | Aviation / Ground Handling | Full-time | PermanentAre you a strategic leader with proven experience in the ground handling industry and a track record of delivering exceptional workforce planning and operational optimisation results?This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape resource planning across one of Europes most dynamic ground handling networks.Were supporting a major international aviation services provider in the search for a Head of Resource Planning to oversee workforce planning functions across their German and Austrian operations, with a focus on Frankfurt Airport.The role includes:Leading a team of 1520 planners across multiple locationsScaling headcount from 300 to 1,500 in FrankfurtCreating structure and driving performance within the cargo planning teamActing as the primary contact for all resource planning strategy, tools, and operationsSupporting union negotiations and participating in works council discussionsIntroducing new systems, tools, and KPIs to improve performanceContributing to tender activity (if experienced in business development)What were looking for: Mandatory Substantial experience in ground handling resource/workforce planning (airport/aviation environment) Solid understanding of German labour law and planning regulations Proven leadership and team management ability Fluent English and at least conversational German Familiarity with GS Planning and Power BI is a plus Analytical, solutions-driven, and comfortable in high-growth environments Salary: Up to 140,000 base + non-fixed bonus Relocation support available for the right candidateInterview process:Pre-screen with Talent AcquisitionFinal stage onsite with senior leadership in FrankfurtIf youre ready to take on a high-impact leadership role within the ground handling sector and shape the future of resource planning at a leading aviation services company, wed love to hear from you.
