This is a 12 month Contract role. This role will be responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless planning and execution of Innovation & Renovation (I&R) projects of medium to high complexity across the consumer value chain. This role may also include business process improvement initiatives. As an I&R Project Manager, you will be apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-time launch and flawless execution of projects from ideation to project closure.This position is an existing vacancy.A day in the life:Lead the communication of project scope, objectives, key success criteria and expectationsBuild and manage the project schedule, defining the critical path, tracking activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines and approvals, generating and communicating status reports, and escalating critical issues.Facilitate problem solving for project setbacks and issues, using LEAN toolsPreventive management of roadblocks and generation of project risk mitigation plansCoordinate and facilitating project discussions including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned and post launch reviewsProvide visibility and transparency to project status to cross functional team members, I&R Program Managers and Category Leadership Team.Develop, align and present projects for Gate Advancement, Deactivation and Scope Change at monthly Category Project Review Gate Meetings to Category Leadership team for reviewApply leadership, coaching and influencing skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects forward, ensuring time and resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet project and business objectives.Lead cross-functional team in identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities.
