The ideal candidate will have deep experience with semiconductor packaging and testing processes, a strong understanding of MES solutions, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.Key Responsibilities: Lead MES strategyfor the assembly and test operations of semiconductor products, aligning with global initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. OverseeMES deployment, configuration, and supportacross variousassembly, package, and test platformsin a high-mix, high-volume environment. Work closely withR&D, engineering, and operations teamsto ensure that the MES system integrates seamlessly with automated test equipment (ATE), robotic handling systems, and packaging tools. Ensurereal-time data collection ,traceability , andquality compliancethrough the MES system, supporting customer-specific requirements Managesystem integrationbetween MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), PLM, and test data management systems, ensuring smooth data flow across the enterprise. Experienced in equipment automation using SECS/GEM and CPIB – Auto trackin and out, automated data collection, auto validations, recipe name validations Experienced in implementing RMS (Recipe Management System) in Assembly and Test manufacturing plant Collaborate withquality assurance (QA)andprocess engineeringteams to implement effectiveyield analysis ,failure analysis , andcontinuous improvementusing MES data. Oversee thedesign and implementation of KPIsto measure system performance, on-time delivery, throughput, and quality metrics. Optimize MES systems forequipment utilization ,test time reduction , andreal-time fault detectionto meet customer delivery requirements and reduce downtime. Ensure that MES solutions supportregulatory compliance(e.g.,ISO 9001 ,ISO/TS 16949 ,customer-specific audits ), including proper data retention and traceability. Lead and mentor a team of MES professionals, supporting their career development and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Experienced in implementing SPC – lot and equipment SPC Implement OEE dashboard to measure equipment usage effectiveness Overseevendor management , ensuring the MES platform meets the evolving needs of the assembly/test environment and stays up to date with industry trends.Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering , Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 15+ yearsof experience in semiconductorassembly, test, and packagingwith a minimum of5 yearsin a leadership role focused onMESwithin an OSAT or semiconductor manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge ofsemiconductor assembly and testing processes , includingwire bonding ,molding ,die attach ,testing (ATE) , andfinal packaging . Hands-on experiencewith MES platforms such asCamstar/OpCenter, Eyelit, Critical Manufacturing, SiViewor other industry-specific systems used in assembly and test environments. Strong understanding ofreal-time data acquisitionfromtest equipment ,robotic handling , andautomated systemsfor manufacturing, assembly, and test. Expertise indata integrationwith equipment (e.g.,ATEs ,test handlers ,pick-and-place machines ) andenterprise systemslike ERP, PLM, and inventory management. Proven experience in drivingyield improvement ,cycle time reduction , andcost controlthrough MES initiatives. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Preferred Qualifications: Experience withdata analyticstools or platforms, such asBig Data ,Machine Learning , orAI-based fault detectionsystems in assembly/test operations.
