Tech in Electrical/Electronics and a minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, particularly in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate must possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in the sourcing of Solar Cells, Solar Modules, and related raw materials.Key Responsibilities: Sourcing & Procurement: Lead sourcing and procurement activities for electrical & electronic components such as: Switchgear components Power transformers Inverters Batteries Solar Cells and Modules Responsible for vendor identification, development, evaluation, and management. Solar-Specific Procurement: Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing Solar Cells, Solar Modules, and raw materials such as: Wafers Paste Ribbon Chemicals Gases Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate reliable vendors/partners for renewable energy raw materials and equipment. Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery. Contract & Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and commercial terms (pricing, delivery, payment) with vendors. Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality standards. Planning & Inventory Control: Lead procurement planning and inventory control processes. Monitor inventory levels and ensure just-in-time delivery to avoid stockouts or overstocking. Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules. Ensure smooth collaboration between internal teams and external partners. Cost & Risk Management: Implement cost control strategies and conduct market benchmarking. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.Key Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Deep understanding of the renewable energy market, especially solar components. Analytical mindset to assess market trends and supplier capabilities. Proficiency in procurement planning, inventory management, and cost optimization. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.Qualifications: Education:B. Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Experience:Minimum 10 years in procurement and vendor management; minimum 2 years specifically in solar cell/module sourcing within the renewable energy sector.
