The role involves managing daily hostel operations, maintaining a positive living environment, and addressing any concerns that may arise.Key Responsibilities:Hostel Management:Supervise and manage the daily operations of the hostel.Ensure that hostel rules and regulations are followed by all residents.Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel premises.Safety and Welfare:Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes residing in the hostel.Address any medical emergencies or safety concerns promptly.Maintain records of attendance and monitor the movement of athletes in and out of the hostel.Discipline and Guidance:Enforce discipline and resolve conflicts among residents in a fair and timely manner.Provide guidance and support to athletes in dealing with personal or professional challenges.Ensure that the hostel remains a peaceful and supportive environment for all.Coordination and Communication:Act as the primary point of contact between the hostel residents and the municate with parents/guardians regarding any concerns related to the athletes.Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping, security, and medical, to ensure the smooth running of the hostel.Administrative Duties:Maintain accurate records of residents, including emergency contacts and medical information.Report any issues related to maintenance, supplies, or safety to the management.Prepare reports on hostel activities, incidents, and feedback for management review.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred but not required).Prior experience working as a Warden, House Parent, or in a similar supervisory role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts calmly.Must be able to manage a diverse group of athletes and foster a supportive environment.Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.Basic knowledge of first aid is preferred.
