The organization not only engages actively with central, state, and local governments but also collaborates closely with national level NGOs, influencing policy formulation and decision-making processes.Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Research Specialist to support our education and student scholarship initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive research to identify educational trends, analyze scholarship effectiveness, and provide data-driven insights to enhance BJS programs. You will play a key role in shaping policies, improving student outcomes, and expanding the reach of our scholarship programs.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth research on educational trends, challenges, and opportunities relevant to student scholarships.Evaluate existing scholarship schemes and recommend improvements based on data analysis and community feedback.Develop and maintain databases to track scholarship applications, awards, student progress, and outcomes.Collaborate with educational institutions, NGOs, and government bodies to gather data and benchmark best practices.Prepare reports, presentations, and policy briefs to support decision-making and fundraising efforts.Monitor the impact of scholarships on student academic and career achievements.Identify high-need areas and develop proposals for new scholarship categories or programs.Stay informed about changes in education policy, especially in the context of minority or underserved communities.Assist in developing application guidelines, selection criteria, and evaluation rubrics for scholarships.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field.Minimum 4-5 years of experience in research, education policy, or scholarship program management.Strong analytical and statistical skills; experience with data tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to present complex findings in a clear, concise, and actionable format.Passion for educational equity and community development.Familiarity with the Indian education system and scholarship landscape is highly desirable.Knowledge of Jain community values and culture is a plus.Remuneration: Based on the candidate’s current CTC and experience.Type of employment: Permanent (Work from office).Note: BJS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, disability or marital status.
