To learn more, visit .Overview of the PositionSealed Air is seeking an Associate Scientist – Food Packaging to be part of new product development and conduct field trials for our Food Packaging Business. This role involves carrying out field trials for both existing and newly developed solutions, identifying gaps, and conducting lab experiments to develop solutions through research and testing, including microbial studies. If necessary, the role will also involve developing new solutions to meet customer requirements.Additionally, the role includes performing demos for both existing and newly developed products to support business continuity needs. The Associate Scientist will participate in troubleshooting and communicate the performance of our solutions to both internal stakeholders and customers.The qualified candidate will use their curiosity to develop test plans, conduct fitness-for-use testing, practice good laboratory management, communicate results, interpret observations, and conclude findings to recommend a path forward to customers, their teams, and key stakeholders.This individual will also be responsible for leading the food packaging portfolio, managing projects, maintaining the lab, overseeing material stock, participating in field trials, and troubleshooting.
