Job Description

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. Job Title : Quality cum Management RepresentativeCritical Skills & Personal Attributes :Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify non-conformity and drive corrective actions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, including senior management.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Main responsibility:1. API Auditing:Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with API standards (e.g., API 6A, API 16A, API Q1, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Perform regular inspections of the manufacturing processes, production systems, and finished products to ensure they meet industry specifications and company standards.Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Manage and track audit schedules, ensuring all required audits are conducted within the appropriate timeframes.Work closely with department managers to resolve any audit findings, non-conformities, or areas of improvement.2. Management Representative (MR) Role:Serve as the Management Representative (MR) for the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that the system meets ISO 9001 and relevant API certifications (e.g., API Q1).Ensure the company’s QMS is fully implemented, maintained, and continuously improved across all functions within the organization.Act as the main liaison between senior management and the quality team regarding QMS performance and compliance.Lead management review meetings and ensure that the company’s leadership is regularly informed of QMS status, audit results, and improvement initiatives.Coordinate quality-related training for employees to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance metrics, helping to drive continuous improvement initiatives.3. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:Ensure the company’s operations comply with local and international regulations (e.g., API, ISO 9001, ASME, PED, etc.), as well as health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to oil and gas manufacturing.Provide guidance to teams on API certification requirements and assist with the process of applying and maintaining certifications.Assist in document control management and ensure all technical documentation, including audit results, are properly archived.Knowledge :Deep knowledge of API standards (e.g., API 6A, API 16A, API Q1) and experience in API audits for oil and gas components.Certification as an API Auditor or Lead Auditor is highly preferred.Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.Experience in the oil and gas industry, including familiarity with manufacturing processes for oilfield equipment, valves, pumps, and other components.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering10+ years' relevant work experienceHighly organized with excellent attention to detail
