We believe every space tells a story, and our team of visionary designers is committed to bringing that story to life—through thoughtful details, exceptional craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.Roles & ResponsibilitiesConceptualization & Design DevelopmentDevelop and present design concepts with detailed mood boards, sketches, and idea presentations.Work closely with the Senior Interior Designer to define project requirements and design direction.Develop comprehensive drawing sets for assigned projects, translating design concepts into precise technical documentation.BOQ & Procurement PlanningPrepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for fixed furniture, loose furniture, lighting, and other procurement materials.Assist in material sourcing, ensuring selections align with project requirements and budgets.Design Execution & CoordinationCollaborate with the CAD and 3D teams to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings and renderings.Design and refine layouts to match client expectations and technical feasibility.Execution & Site CoordinationBe actively involved in the execution phase of projects, ensuring smooth on-site implementation of designs.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify material installation, and address design discrepancies.Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure design integrity is maintained.Industry Research & InnovationStay updated with industry trends, evolving materials, and best practices in interior design.Experiment with new design technologies and tools to enhance project efficiency and creativity.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong Aesthetic Sense – Eye for detail, color schemes, lighting, and materials.Technical Proficiency – Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign and other relevant design software.Project Coordination – Ability to manage BOQs, procurement, vendor interactions, and site execution.Problem-Solving Approach – Ability to foresee and resolve on-site design challenges effectively.Independent Design Ability – Capability to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects from start to finish.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.Experience: 3+ years in interior design, with experience in BOQ preparation, material procurement, CAD coordination, site execution, and independent project designing.Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe suite and MS Office.Why Join Chalk Studio?At Chalk Studio, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering exceptional design experiences across India.
