Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Korean Translator to join our Projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and spoken content from Korean to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency in tone and context.Key Responsibilities:Translate a variety of documents (technical, business, legal, marketing, etc.) from Korean to English and vice versa.Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and industry-specific terminology.Proofread and edit translated materials to maintain high quality and consistency.Assist in interpretation during meetings, calls, or events as needed.Maintain translation memory tools and glossaries.Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.Proven experience as a translator or interpreter (Korean to English and/or vice versa).Excellent command of both Korean and [English/target language], including grammar and vocabulary.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with translation software/tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing, automotive and related fields.Native-level fluency in Korean.Certification in translation or interpretation is an advantage.
